2Days 1 night schedule is a compact itinerary that brings you to Cat Ba National Park, iconic Lan Ha Bay and ample time to chill in the island.
DAY 1. VENTURE CAT BA NATIONAL PARK
At 7H:45 AM, get on Daiichi bus to head to Cat Ba Island. During 3.5 hours on the bus, notice the change when we cross Dinh Vu - Lach Huyen port, the strategic project that helps bring Cat Ba Island closer to Northern Vietnam and beyond.
Geared up for a change when you reach Cat Ba Town. Check-in Pod Hostel, the only hostel of its kind in Cat Ba that enables you to both enjoy privacy and community. Settle in your new room and have lunch in Big Man restaurant.
In the afternoon, ready to get on your motorbike and traverse the refreshing roads of Cat Ba National Park, led by a knowledgable local tour guide. When you reach Cat Ba National Park, trek into the top of Ngu Lam Peak and take in the panorama of Cat Ba Biosphere. With more than 1500 types of animals and 700 plants, the park is an ideal hiking experience.
Along the way, hop in Hospital Cave, a unique historical landmark.
When you are back in town, it’s time to enjoy a drink while the sun sets in. Enjoy dinner in Big Man and feel the vibe of Cat Ba Town at night.
DAY 2. THE WORLD HERITAGE JOURNEY
At around 8:30 AM, be ready at the lobby of Pod Hostel to join a group of travellers to explore Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay.
Head to Beo Pier where our boat is anchored. Slowly cruise around Cai Beo, one of the oldest floating villages in the North of Vietnam. This is the habitation of more than 300 families where people coexist with nature, make a living with fish farms, squid fishings and move around in various kinds of boats. Get to Light Cave-Dark Cave, our kayaking area. From here, the adventure truly starts! Cruise into hidden lagoons and observe stalactites hanging from their entrance. Light Cave-Dark Cave is also known as the border area between Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay, where Cat Ba langurs, an endangered primate sometimes move around.
Back to our boat for lunch. We offer a variety of food catering to both vegetarians and meat-eaters.
In the afternoon, get to Three Peaches Beach. Instead of following the group, in the afternoon you are totally flexible. Swim around idyllic beaches, explore a secret garden or get a kayak to venture further when you feel like it.
In the early afternoon, get back to Cat Ba Town and hop on Daiichi Bus to return to Hanoi.
