NIGHT 1: BUS HANOI - SA PA TOWN
9:00PM A very comfortable sleeping bus will go picking up from your hotel/hostel in the Old Quarter or meeting at 96 nguyen huu huan.
DAY 1: HA NOI - SAPA – CAT CAT (B,L, D)
6.00: Arrive in Sapa, have breakfast and check in room ( If available)
9.30: You start trekking to Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in 19th century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village.
12h30: After lunch, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.
18h00 - 19h30: We will Serve your dinner in our hotel. you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night. Overnight at Laxsik hotel.
DAY 2: Hill tribe village trek & return Hanoi (B,L)
9:00 AM, start trekking from Sapa on the main road to go down to Muong Hoa valley. Begining of the trip is the moment for admire the panorama view of the town and then the valley from the main road. After 4km on the main road, we start going down to the valley by the small trails through the terrace rice fields to get to Y Linh Ho hamlet, home of the Black Hmong people.
From Y Linh Ho village, we go along the river to go to Lao Chai village (means "old village" in the local dialect). It is time for you to visit the local families, listen to your guide's explanation about the local culture: how they live, way of building the traditional house, techniques of making clothes... or listen about the way of treatment for a sick person.
12:30 - Stop for lunch. The lunch is served in one of the local refreshment restaurants on the side of the river.In the afternoon, we leave Lao Chai to continue to Ta Van village, the Giay people's residence. The guide to bring you into some family: listen about their life, enjoy some green tea, learn about the differences of their culture from the other hill tribes even they leave close to each other.
14h30: Quitting Ta Van, we head up to the main road where the car will pick up us to tranfer back to hotel. Take a rest and prepare luggage for going back Hanoi.
15h30: Tranfer to bus station for the bus at 4pm. Arrive in Hanoi at 22h00.
THINGS TO KNOW
- You can extent your staying at our homestay or at Sa Pa and comeback with the bus on another day/time as long as you inform us as soon as possible.
- Not so many locals in there can speak English and to respect the locals culture, please listen to the tour guide.
- It's quite touristic in Sa Pa town, so it means there are also scams. Our drivers for pickup will have your name and your code from the booking, please only follow him to the homestay.
THINGS TO BRING
- Shoes and camera are must-to-bring.
- Comfortable clothes and a light coat ( the temperature in Sa Pa could get down to 10 degrees in winter ).
- Insect repellent (we will go trekking through forest)
