This trip really exceeded my expectations! Ha Long bay was of course beautiful, but the tour was run (by the excellent and enthusiastic Duc) and the quality of the accommodation on the boat and on the island were also great. I didn't want the trip to end.

Excellent trip! Kayaking and biking was certainly a highlight. The guide spoke perfect English and gave us a very good information. The food could be improved but otherwise everything about the trip was great, especially the guides and activities.

Lien was an excellent guide! very helpful and cheerful. Good selection of food and lots to eat. Kayaking was my favorite part. I wish that Ocean Tours has a package with more kayaking.The island was cute and our room was fine. I wish we had more time to relax on the beach and explore the island but I know with only 2 days we were short on time! I had a good time nevertheless.

I think there was nothing Duc (our tour guide) could have done to make us more comfortable - he was really kind and friendly and he told us so much about Vietnam. We never felt rushed. And when the AC on the junk in our room wasn't working he took care of us graciously.
We think we made the best choice with Ocean Tours ( would definitely do it again) and we felt really lucky having Duc show us around.

My overall impression of Ocean Tours was one of the professionalism. We have booked other tours in Vietnam and felt rushed and cheated at times. The people n the Ocean Tours office took their time and gave us very thorough explanations of what we were buying. Never did I feel lied to. As for our trip, the accommodation was very good and the food was good. Duc, our tour guide, was the highlight for us. He was knowledgeable as never rushed us. He made a huge effort to tell us about this country and what we were seeing. He was an excellent guide. Thank you Duc!

A few weeks ago my partner Rob and I were in Vietnam and we were fortunate to book a tour with Ocean Tours. Our guide Tinh was so exceptional. we wanted to write a letter to the company letting you know how pleased we were. Tinh was informative and pleasant to be around, he really went out of his way to accommodate us with all our requests, this included taking a hour plus bike ride through the rain (which surely was not fun for him) but which allowed us to see the gorgeous countryside and rice patties. We really appreciated it. But the area that we were most surprised was when a series of unforeseen circumstances threatened our missing our flight at the airport, Tinh did his best to get us there on time. After our driver
received a flat tire Ting actually flagged down a ride and escorted us to the airport. I have never seen anyone so invested in guaranteeing quality service to his customers. In the end it was quite a journey and we certainly thought of Tinh as a friend in the journey. We will recommend your tour company to anyone who is considering a trip to Vietnam and I have already passed on the story of Ting getting us to the airport to many people as an example of truly fabulous customer service.

Good trip! We were happy to find a reputable company with enthusiastic staff and a quality tour. Riding the different boat and staying on the island was fun. For the food, the steamed crab was good but too fancy for lunch, and more Vietnamese food for dinner would have been nice. Also, a 2 days 1 night trip with with a stay on Cat Ong & second day free time on Cat Ba + speedboat trip would be fun & good for local economy. Thank you!

Thang Winston (our guide) is the most hospitable guide I have ever had. Vietnam is my 35 country and never have I experienced such enthusiastic service. He is extremely knowledgeable and his grasp of English language and humor is amazing! I would recommend this tour to others but perhaps it wouldn't be the same without Thang Winston - the Amazing!

My travel partner became sick on our first day and Thanh (our guide) took particular care to make sure she had a soothing rice soup for dinner that first night. I really enjoyed our informative and open talks with Thanh. Overall this was a wonderful experience, very relaxing, beautiful bungalows, very solicitous staff on the island. The only suggestions I have would be to upgrade the kayaks and paddles and to offer more all day kayaking tours to less populated areas and maybe camp on the beaches.Also - offer more traditional Vietnamese food. After hearing many complaints about various tour operators for Ha Long Bay I did not expect a lot. However, this trip was excellent. Duc was always helpful and fun. It was a small group which we prefer. The food was outstanding.Maybe we do not need so much though. For the price this is an excellent standard and we are sad it is finishing for us.

This trip was the highlight of our vacation to Vietnam. My uncles who are both Vietnamese national had never dreamt to have had such a wonderful experience. We had high expectations for this tour after speaking to your office staff and we feel our expectations have been far exceeded. The tour was very well organized and run. The boats, island, bikes and restaurant were superb. Finally, the staff were excellent, especially Tuan. Tuan was energetic, knowledgeable, flexible and professional. I know that everyone on our tour appreciated having him. As our guide, he is a great  representative for your company! Lastly, many tours pressure guests and ask for money on the trip. It was refreshing to not feel any pressure at all on your tour.
